Burger King is hijacking the biggest shopping week of the year, by making other brands buy you a Whopper sandwich. Now, that’s a real Black Friday deal!
“Have you ever heard of a sneaker brand offering a free Whopper? Of course not, why would they?” This is how Burger King themselves introduced WHOPPER-SHOPPER.com, the new website that only features banner ads for other brands.
How does it work? Well, it is very simple in fact. When somebody clicks on a banner ad and buys something from a brand, the owner of the websites gets paid. Sometimes they get paid for every click, sometimes they get a percentage on sales.
Well, this Black Friday week, Burger King has turned the game around and chose to advertise your favorite brands on their website. Every time you will click and buy something from a banner on their website, they will pay you with what they do best: free Whoppers.
So now you will get the best Black Friday deals and free burgers. Is that the best Black Friday or what?
The website is live since Thursday November, 15 and will be up through Cyber Monday, November 26. The offer is limited to three free Whoppers per person.
