Welcome to this week’s top social media stories. Facebook is rolling out video polls for ads and testing a new multi-brand ad unit which could change the way advertisers use the platform.
If there is one domain in which Facebook continues to innovate, it has to be ads (of course.) This week the company has started testing two new features that could have a large impact on how advertisers use the platform: video polls and multi-brands ad units.
But Facebook also rolled out a new version of Messenger this week. Messenger 4 is supposed to be a simplified version of the messaging app, yet encompassing even more features and options to customize your experience.
Finally, Instagram and SoundCloud now let you share tunes and podcasts directly on Stories, but, major caveat, you will still need to have the SoundCloud app on your device to listen to the tracks!
