Technology is supposed to make our life better. New apps like Periscope and Meerkat are opening new ways of seeing things, like we never imagined we would, not with “just” a mobile device anyway. Other apps like Instagram want to boost our creativity and they regularly roll out updates, filters and tools to help us do more. But do we get happier? Apparently not. A recent survey showed that most of our tweets are… negative!

Coca-cola, the happiness brand, wanted to do something and they created the first vending machine where the price of a can of Coke depends directly from how positive you are on Twitter. Some paid up to €2 or more for a can, while others got it for much less, even totally free sometimes. So who said happiness does not pay?
