Twitter is one of the best tool to promote yourself or your business online. It is a very engaged community and as such it is very good to build awareness, share offers, or basically to promote your content. But this can only happen if you can make a place for yourself in the growing Twitter community.
Not only 75% businesses are already on Twitter, it also offers one of the highest recommendation ratio among all social media platforms. In fact, almost 8 out of 10 users are likely to recommend a brand they follow and 67% are more likely to buy from a brand that they know of on Twitter.
So what should you tweet about? Well that really depends on your industry. But generally, tweets with images and/or links are very much more likely to create engagement. And a golden rule: on twitter, you will get engagement if you ask for it! So don’t hesitate, for example, to ask your followers to retweet, they will then be 4 times more likely to do so!
