Spotify and Hulu have partnered to offer students access to their services for only $4.99 a month.
The Spotify Premium for Students service will offer premium access to Spotify as well as to Hulu streaming for a fraction of its original $28.97 price tag. To make things even more appealing to prospective customers, Spotify Premium for Students will cost $0.99 for the first three months. Students in the US are in for a special treat as well, as they will also receive access to Showtime – so that they stream all day long and skip classes.
“Spotify Premium has just changed the content game for students,” Alex Norström, Chief Premium Officer at Spotify said in a statement. “By joining forces with Showtime and continuing our relationship with Hulu, Spotify Premium is now able to give students a complete world of music and video content, shows and film.”
As is the case with regular Spotify Premium users, students who take advantage of this special offer will get to listen to millions of songs offline as well, and without ad interruptions. Hulu comes with an impressive roster of shows including The Handmaid’s Tale, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Family Guy, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as well as many popular movies. It also offers hit series such as Shameless, The Chi & SMILF.
The offer expires on Oct 9, 2018.
