Add a touch of legend to your designs with these custom fonts that replicate the handwriting of David Bowie, John Lennon, and other legendary songwriters.
If you like to adding a more “personal” touch to your designs, you can sometimes rely on fonts that replicate handwriting. Nicolas Damiens and Julien Sens, a creative duo from France, designed a series of fonts that reproduce the handwriting of legendary songwriters: David Bowie, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Leonard Cohen and Serge Gainsbourg.
Nicolas and Julien analysed the songwriters’ manuscripts, and designed each font character to resemble their handwriting. For the designers, these are more than fonts, they are a tribute to the work of these music legends.
All the fonts from the Songwriters Fonts project are available for free download on the designers’ website: songwritersfonts.com.
