With “Tap To View” Snapchat is now letting you watch longer content, without having to keep your finger pressed on your phone.

One thing that many often found annoying with Snapchat is that you had to keep your finger(s) pressed on your phone’s screen to view snaps or stories. Well starting immediately, you now only have to tap the screen once instead of holding your finger down. UX improvement = 100% at least!

The updated version of the Snapchat app also comes with a neat new “Add Nearby” feature that allows you to find Snapchat users around you and add them to your friends list. In a similar way, the function lets you see whom among your friends is nearby too.
