Snapchat received a massive update just 2 days ago – including a new tool for content discovery, but no one told us about a fun, new feature that makes adding friends a lot more easy.

Apparently, the team at the self-destructing messenger forgot to mention that you can now invite friends, followers, colleagues, in-laws to add you on the social network by creating your special code on Snapchat and letting them scan it.

This code looks like a QR-code but it features the well-known ghost. You can access it from the Snapchat camera, then by tapping the ghost logo at the top of the screen.
