Snap Inc. is upgrading its Bitmoji app with Bitmoji Deluxe, a new avatar style that includes hundreds of new ways for you to customise your Bitmoji.
Your Bitmoji app on iOS and Android will now offer hundreds of more ways to customise your Bitmoji avatars – including new hairstyles and colours, facial features, accessories, and different skin tones. The new options are available as part of Snap Inc’s recent addition of Bitmoji Deluxe, a new avatar style.
To use the new style, you will have to navigate to the settings in your Bitmoji app and select the “Change Avatar Style” option. You can also use the usual Bitmoji or Bitstrips styles. When updating your Bitmoji, you can also preview your new avatar options before continuing.
Snap says that its more hairstyle options in Bitmoji Deluxe were the most popular request from users, and the countless new styles and options available are a testament to how closely Snap has been listening. Hairstyles can now be fully customised to achieve very detailed effects like, highlights, ombre hair colours, and many more.
In a blog post announcing Bitmoji Deluxe, Snap’s team explained, “We love hearing your feedback and we’ve tried to create a new Bitmoji style that will help our community create Bitmojis that feel even more personal,” adding that “in the future, we’ll continue updating Bitmoji Deluxe in an effort to help make each Bitmoji feel even more unique.”
With all these options, you can more easily select your avatar’s physical attributes, but if it gets too hard to decide, how about using a selfie to help you create your most personalised Bitmoji? The feature is also included.
