We all know that we can share video or photos on Snapchat and Instagram, but what happens when we want to share music? Not a moving image with music, not a video clip, JUST music. Sounds weird? Well, there’s an app for that.
Most of us, point our camera to the album image or just cover the camera lenses when we just want to share music. Sounds app is here to release you from the awkward position. Let’s see how.
The app connects to various music content providers using their APIs. These providers include big names such as Soundcloud, iTunes and Spotify. Then, users can browse the libraries and find the song they want to share. Sounds app retrieves the album art and a sample of the song users select. Then, the app gives users the choice to specify which part exactly they want to share that can last up to 15 seconds.
These clips can be posted on Instagram or Snapchat for the time being, but we are sure that there will be more options available in the near future. Moreover, Sounds app brings users fresh content everyday, helping them discover new music.
