If you are one of the early users of Facebook then you probably see more and more pictures of kids on your timeline. Don’t worry, it is not some kind of conspiracy. The people who first started using Facebook have grown up and there are a lot more Facebook users with kids now. And they tend to post a lot of baby photos…
Well, Facebook has made it easier, more efficient and safer to collect photos of kids, thanks to a new feature called Scrapbook.

Scrapbook is basically a new feature that lets you tag your children in photos so that you can collect them all in one place.

It is easier, because you can choose any tag you want. It is more efficient because all you need to do is tag the picture and it will be added to your Scrapbook, no matter where the picture was posted on Facebook. Finally, it is safer because only you and your partner can tag pictures of your kids, but also because you can individually choose who can view the scrapbook.
Scrapbooks can be co-owned by you and your spouse or partner, so you can work together on the album. But to keep it safe and intimate, you will actually need to be in a relationship with the other person on Facebook.
To start your own Scrapbook, go to your profile, click on About and then on Family and Relationships. You will see the option to create a Scrapbook in there.
Scrapbook is rolling out in the US today and it will be available on all devices: web, iPhone and Android.
