Pinterest has announced it’s introducing several new video features to help creators and businesses reach their audiences.
Pinterest is an ideal platform for businesses to showcase helpful services and produces, tell interesting brand stories through how-to videos and tutorials. Brands are able to use the platform effectively to spark inspiration and tell their stories in creative and inspirational ways, while people come to Pinterest to try new things.
To help brands and creators connect with audiences through their videos, Pinterest is introduing new video features – an improved video uploader, a new video tab, new lifetime video analytics, and the Pin Scheduler tool.
Pinterest’s updated video uploader allows businesses and creators to seamlessly upload videos directly to the platform to engage their audiences and get access to “the latest metrics.” The new video tab available on business profiles gives brands the opportunity to feature their videos in one place, and allow more users to discover them over time.
This is especially important as Pinterest videos “surface and resurface over time and don’t disappear with a feed, meaning the lifespan of a video is evergreen.” Furthermore, the new video analytics for businesses offer a look at lifetime views offering performance insights of a video over time.
Finally, the new Pin Scheduler tool lets businesses and creators schedule video content in advance, without having to use a third-party tool.
