Periscope is reported to be testing a new feature with beta users that allows broadcasters to draw on top of live video.
Simply dubbed “Sketching,” the new feature allows you to draw in an array of colours to bring attention to specific parts of your video, a feature well-established in the Snapchat world.
The test of this new feature comes just a few days after Facebook started rolling out its new version of Live which, as you can imagine, came with a new features allowing you to… draw on top of live videos.

There is no official announcement form Periscope at this stage, but it is fair to imagine that this feature should be rolled out to all users very soon, especially now that Facebook has beaten Periscope to it.
In the battle of the live streamers, there will be no mercy. Meerkat knows this almost too well.
