Periscope has introduced a new Groups tab and several other new features in its latest iOS app update.
Just last week, Periscope released the latest update for the iOS version of its app, including a few features – among others, a dedicated groups tab. Users can now easily access their Groups menu directly from within their profiles, allowing them to create groups of users to broadcast to in the future. The feature was launched in December 2016.
Additionally, with the update, users can also choose not to receive push notification when they are added to group by someone else. This is a new setting that can be found in the profile section.
Finally, the update brings improved broadcast quality with slower internet connections, better looking videos on iPhone 6 and higher, and improved audio synch during 360 broadcasts.
