Sony is bringing back the original PlayStation console nearly 25 years after its initial release. It’s called “PlayStation Classic” and comes pre-loaded with 20 “genre-defining” games.
Nostalgia is a definite trend among ageing millennials. After Nintendo, Sony too has announced plans to bring back one of its original consoles. So, the PlayStation will be back, as a miniature device (it’s 45% smaller) and will be called the “PlayStation Classic.”
It will be launched globally on December 3rd and will come pre-loaded with 20 “genre-defining” games, including titles like Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, and Ridge Racer Type 4.
Together with the miniature console, you will also get two original PS1 controllers. It comes with a full HDMI connection of course, because… well, it’s 2018.
