It started as an idea and grew to be one of the largest websites of its kind, today WeRSM is reaching yet another milestone: our first private investor.
January 2013, WeRSM was born: It was only a “blog” about social media. Five years later, WeRSM is a limited company, incorporated in London, UK and one of the largest websites in the world dedicated to social media marketing.
It took thousands of articles (4,448 exactly), an incalculable number of hours (evenings and weekends included) and a bunch of great contributors to get us to where we are today. George, Villy and myself will forever be thankful to them and to all of you, who read us everyday and make all of this possible.
July 2017 will mark a great turn in our short history. This month we are welcoming a new partner. Linleigh has been with us since mid 2014. A tireless contributor, she met and interviewed with over 100 industry leaders and helped raise awareness of our work across all continents. It is our utmost pleasure to welcome Linleigh as our new business partner.
This is already great news, but that’s not all. This summer we are also welcoming our first private investor. Bootstrapped from the start, WeRSM has grown to be a successful venture for all of us. It is now time for us to go even bigger and we are honoured that individuals and companies are now looking for opportunities to join us in this incredible adventure.
Thank you to you dear reader, and look out for all of the many projects, campaigns and new features that are coming your way on WeRSM: it’s going to be awesome.
