After making the buzz around its Messenger app, Facebook is now making sure people want to use its web interface as a messaging platform. Facebook recently added some new keyboard shortcuts to make expert users use messages even faster.

The details of the new keyboard shortcuts for Facebook messages are accessible from the main messages windows, by clicking on the “Actions” button located in the top right corner.
These shortcuts are however only available when you are in messages, not from anywhere on Facebook. We think this could have been a better experience if one could start a new message by just hitting “CTRL + M” directly from the newsfeed.
What do you think of these? Useful addition or pure gadget feature?
