With Father’s Day just around the corner, NERF France decided to address an unfolding drama: parents all across the world are growing to become “losers” in the eyes of their kids.
It is a common story for many parents. When your kids are young, you are everything to them. True half-god, there is nothing you cannot accomplish in their eyes. But it never lasts. As they grow older, you grow out of trend. By the time they reach their teenage years, you might as well just become a “zero.” But it does not have to be that way. And NERF wants to help you look cool again.
In France, NERF worked with Marcel Agency to create an amazing 8-bit video game where parents (you can choose between being the father or the mother) get to earn their kids respect back by shooting a NERF gun at targets and avoiding the traps set along their way in a suburban backyard.
So, are you ready to shoot your way to their respect? Or will you suffer shame losing all of your three lives falling on burning coals or the neighbor’s dog? It’s your time to be a hero again.
