LinkedOut is an initiative of Entourage and TBWA Paris to help homeless people find a job and get out of precarity.
Everyone knows that a job is the only way out of precarity. Yet, a job is also what feels most unattainable for most homeless people. To help them rebuild their self-confidence and bring them the consideration and opportunity they deserve, Entourage (a French non-profit) created LinkedOut, the first-ever social networking website offering an alternative to precarity.
LinkedOut is extremely simple to use. It brings the spotlight on these people who desperately need a job. By showcasing their resume and giving them the opportunity to show who they really are, LinkedOut is already doing the most important job: giving hope.
LinkedOut was launched in France with twenty candidates. The initiative does not stop there, however. There are plans to expand and build the right support services to follow candidates through their path to employment and reinsertion.
