Careerify, a Toronto-based startup making its own Talent Acquisition Software, with a mission to eradicate unemployment globally while making clients more profitable and strategic will now be part of LinkedIn.
Careerify’s Talent Acquisition Software includes three major products: Employee Referrals, which takes advantages of employees social connections to leverage possible job candidates, Internal Mobility that helps employees advance their career and Employer Branding which curates content for the employees and fosters advocacy.

According to the announcement, both Internal Mobility and Employer Branding initiative will shut down soon. This is the interesting part, as it could mean that LinkedIn is planning to develop its referral scheme and fits its vision of creating powerful connections among candidates, influencers and potential jobs.
While the amount spent for the acquisition remains undisclosed, Harpaul Sambhi, Founder and CEO of Careerify stated that the decision was relatively easy:
