Tinder is always looking for new ways to bring people together. And since the world is turning to virtual reality, Tinder announced the introduction of its own VR headset: Welcome to Tinder VR.
Virtual reality is a very trendy technology: from cars to travel services, from fashion to entertainment, many companies are now developing VR experiences. And those visited the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas can only agree. And that’s why Tinder chose this time of year to introduce #TinderVR.
Of course coming from Tinder – the app that forever revolutionised – you have to expect something “different.”
#TinderVR is a VR headset for two.
By now you must have understood; #TinderVR is a joke. A great one. With this PR stunt, Tinder wanted to remind everyone that no matter how advanced technology becomes, nothing will ever replace meeting another person in real life. Well done Tinder!
