When Instagram launched Stories late this summer, we were initially shocked at how much it reminded us of Snapchat. We also weren’t so sure as to how successful it was going to be. Instagram Stories is here to stay though – and nothing testifies to this more, than being placed in Instagram’s Explore tab.
As a feature, Instagram Stories has found initial success both with individuals, and brands. It offers the ability to share everyday moments in a fast and easy way. With Stories on Explore, Instagram is making it even easier for everyone to discover and explore those moments.
There are over 100 million people around the world, who visit the Explore tab every single day. They use it to discover videos and photos from those they don’t follow yet.
The new suggested stories section highlights the most interesting stories from across Instagram’s vast global community — and like the rest of Explore, the stories you’ll see are personalized to your interests.
It is more than likely that the Stories you see in Explore will be tailored to what you like – based on who you follow and what posts you like.
