While Instagram Ads are becoming part of our newsfeed on a daily basis, we are now being informed that the social network is enriching its advertising solutions suite by rolling out video ads.

As AdWeek reports, Instagram will start showing 15-second autoplay spots from Disney, Activision, Lancome, Banana Republic and CW. The company has been working closely with advertisers such as Omnicom during the whole of 2014, taking slow but steady steps towards securing that high-quality, relevant, non-disruptive ads will be displayed in newsfeeds across the globe.
Both Instagram and Facebook have been focusing on video ads and video editing tools the past few months – let’s not forget that Instagram has launched the highly successful Hyperlapse app just a few months ago.
