Instagram has updated its iPhone app to welcome the native dark support in iOS 13, and it’s everything you have ever wanted from Instagram.
My favorite app is getting a dark mode and I’m loving it. Instagram now matches your Apple device settings – going into dark mode when you’ve switched to the setting in iOS 13.
If you have not done so yet, head over to General Settings on your iPhone and upgrade to iOS 13 to gain access to the integrated dark mode. Then make sure you update to the latest version of Instagram.

Using Dark Mode on Instagram is everything I had wanted for so long: it makes scrolling through your feed much easier on the eyes, but also brings the best out of the photos shared on the app. And overall, it looks rad!
Instagram could have done better, however. The app does not let you toggle the dark mode on or off. Instead, it automatically matches your iPhone’s OS settings. But with dark mode looking so good, why would you even want to switch back?
