It seems that Instagram has found the ultimate monetisation formula. The social network has stated that they will start with a few businesses that already achieve great results on the platform. Users will have the option to hide the ad by clicking the “…” button on the bottom right of the image.
In addition, each ad will be accompanied by a clickable “Sponsored” label, where users can find more information. This is the 2nd country where Instagram ads are launched – after the United States. Canada and Australia will follow later this year.
