Fade is a new Instagram tool that lets you fade shadows and highlights in your images and make them look much like vintage film photos. This is something that was already part of some filters but the new tool now lets you adjust the level of fading to your liking.
The Color tool is even more exciting. It allows you to tint the highlights or shadows in your photo. You can choose from yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan or green to add a colorful flair to your pics. Some says this may help make your pics look like old polaroids or cross-processed film. Very vintage of you, Instagram.
