Facebook has something for everyone. And its events feature is one of its biggest weapons. In fact, the social network pulled a revamp on the respective session, rolling out a design layout that’s different between public and private events.

As TNW reports, the social network is offering options to distinguish the different type of events. For instance, public events will sport larger feature images and will display further information about the location, venue and artists involved. At the same time, wall posts will become secondary act, as most of invitees in such events are complete strangers.
As far as private events are concerned, Facebook will now give users the option to customise the layout of their invitation, by offering a variety of themes to choose from. The selection includes categories such as holidays, family party, food, drinks etc.
Apart from that, Facebook is also considering setting up reminders for events, so that you don’t get lost among invitations.
According to the same reports, all these changes will be visible for iOS and Android users, although there is no information yet on a possible Desktop update.
