Getty images, the leader in stock imagery, is offering grants to Instagram photographers. According to the announcement, the reason behind this move is to encourage Instagram photographers to report and document stories from underrepresented communities around the world.
The grants will not only provide a financial aid to emerging talents, but will also give winners the opportunity to receive mentorship form renowned Getty photographers. Users may enter via submitting an application form on Getty website, however, all Instagramers are invited to use the hashtag #GettyImagesInstagramGrant to notify potential applicants about this initiative.
