Having a Facebook Page really is a must for every business nowadays. But did you know you can also customise your Page, depending on the nature of your business?
Despite being born as a social network for friends, it is clear that Facebook has become a place for businesses to promote their products and services. In fact, there are now over 60 million Facebook Pages created by businesses from all over the world.
Over the past few years, Facebook has added many features for Pages. Just recently, Facebook rolled out job postings, and a shopping tab. And those are just an addition to the existing tabs: Photos, Videos, Events, About, Likes, Offers….
To make it easier for you, and ensure that you get the most out of your Facebook Page, Facebook has introduced Page templates. Each template caters to a different kind of business. Right now, there are 7 templates available: Standard, Shopping, Business, Venues, Politicians, Services and Restaurant and Cafés.
Each template comes with its set of pre-selected primary buttons, toolbars, and tabs that best fit the needs of the corresponding business type. So, just head over to your Page Settings, and select “Edit Page” to access the list of available templates.
Of course, you can also build your own template, by manually selecting what buttons and features you want for your page.
