With the Rio Olympics just around the corner, the IOC has decided to take the Olympic Torch relay to social media. And not only have they created a dedicated account on Twitter, but they have also taken it a step further, by adding a Periscope broadcast to it.
The significance of Olympic Games and the torch relay that comes right before them is of great importance, and what’s better than spreading the message through social media, so that new and old generations can enjoy the route that the Olympic Flame travels, as it crosses the four corners of the globe, to reach its destination?
That’s right, nothing better.
