Whats the first social network that pops into mind when you think of customer service? Many of you will respond Twitter. However, given the latest news, Facebook is trying to curb this widespread notion, by introducing new features aimed at facilitating communication between customers and businesses.
More precisely, businesses will have the option to add the “Call Now” CTA button on their local ad units that appear on users’ newsfeed. This new addition comes after including a “Get Directions” button back in October 2014.
The “Call Now” feature, gives more ways to interact with businesses. With localisation being an important part of user engagement and advertising success, Facebook wants to make sure that its ad suite is an attractive option for businesses that may not have excess of budget, but want to yield some tangible results.
