Remember Prisma, the app – photographic sensation that took users by storm with its innovative image reconstruction with neural networks and artificial intelligence? Of course you do. With the latest Prisma update, you can create even more amazing photos – offline.
Until today, Prisma gave users limited functionality when it was used offline; only half of the filters were available. An internet connection to enjoy the full features was a prerequisite. The updated version, launched on August 28th, will allow the app to run its sophisticated neural networks on your smartphone, so as to make the most out of its amazing photo filters.
Moreover, a brand new service is now available on the app. Dubbed “Philanthropic’ styles” it lets Prisma users choose to donate $1 to an Elbi charity while using “Love” filter style. What’s next? We think it’s a safe bet to say that Prisma will offer a foray into the 3D and VR space. We can’t wait to see the results.
So that’s it. Prisma is getting even more accessible, while doing good as well. Thumbs up!
