In Spain, Burger King is introducing the “Dogpper” – a specially-designed treat to keep your furry friends busy, while you enjoy your Whopper.
If you’re a dog owner, you know: dogs are always hungry, and secondly, dogs are always after your food. It makes it difficult to sit back and enjoy your Whopper. Even more so, Burger King conducted its own research (!) and found that 65% of dogs beg for food when their owners order delivery food. According to the same research, 50% of dog owners surrender.
In order to help you enjoy your Whopper – and promote its delivery service – Burger King Spain partnered with La Despensa, to introduce the “Dogpper” – the first ever dog treat by Burger King.
All you need to do is mention you’re a dog owner when ordering your Whopper. It really is a win-win situation: you don’t have to share your burger, and your dog is happy. (except that in my case, my dog would make this Dogpper disappear in about 1/10th of a second…)
Still, I love the idea. Well-played Burger King. Even if you don’t have the chance to be a dog dad or mum, check out their sweet sweet faces in the video (sound on please)… I’m melting.
Every bite you take… (Burger King)
