LinkedIn is all about networking. By expanding your network not only do you get more chances to land the job of your dreams, but you also establish your professional authority and exchange expertise.

Having this in mind, LinkedIn announced that it brings further improvements to its Profile Views section and, more specifically, it has just rolled out a feature which allows you to see which actions brought impressions to your LinkedIn profile.

The new feature can be found in the “Who’s Viewed Your Profile” section, right next to your regular analytics statistics. On bottom right corner, users can now see the number of actions taken throughout the course of the week. Just below this number, you can find a breakdown of these actions.

Sachit Kamat, Principal Product Manager and Engagement Lead at LinkedIn states:

“Layering who is looking at your profile over the actions you have taken lets you focus on the actions that are most relevant to your professional goals, maximizing the engagement your profile receives.”

These actions that bring you higher engagement rates, may in turn prove to be bearers of new career opportunities or further connections within the industry that appeals to you the most.

This new feature is also available on mobile, so you won’t miss a single stat, even if you are on the go.
