Instagram has made its platform available in three new languages this week, with Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi being added to the list. This is also the first time Instagram is available in right to left languages.
The first three right to left languages that Instagram will be available in, are Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi. Instagram announced that it is making the platform available in the three main right to left languages for the very first time. The new languages are available as part of Instagram’s 8.4 update that rolled out recently, but the new languages are only available on Instagram for Android. This, according to the full list of available languages that can be found on Instagram’s Help Center.
In order to change your language setting, you need to go to your profile’s settings tab and switch your language from there. Here’s how:
1. Go to your profile and tap on the gear icon
2. Scroll down and tap Language (below Settings)
3. Choose the language you’d like to use
If you switch to Arabic, Hebrew, or Farsi, your app will be updated to read from right to left, instead of left to right.
