Remember when Twitter – or shall I say Twttr – first came to life? It was back in March 2006, when founder Jack Dorsey published his first message.

But Jack could well have been inspired from Amiga World Magazine…. 18 years earlier!

Back in 1988, the Internet isn’t doing much yet, and social networks as we know them surely did not exist.

But, according to a find by the Minitel Research Lab, Amiga World magazine may have already been predicting the “tweet” on its cover, 18 years before the first tweet was actually published!

So, real prediction or simple inspiration for little Jack, who was only about 12 years old back in 1988?
