Social media has become one of the biggest sources of distraction. The News Feed “bubble,” influencers, digital celebrities… the new social media marketing is about more than the “message” – it’s about making our voice heard through the “noise”.

This month I really wanted to address how some content – and some people – manage to become the centre of our attention on social media. So I selected two books that I think provide some good answers: The Filter Bubble looks into how personalisation has changed the way we consume information, while Hit Makers provides a great perspective on how we can still succeed into this world of distraction.

And of course, how could I forget a “Snapchat Marketing” book? The company is about to go through the biggest step in its young history, the already famous Snap Inc. IPO. It’s hard to find the best book to talk about Snapchat Marketing because the platform never stops evolving.  I chose Snapchat Is The New Black by Cedric Nic – because it really gives a complete insight on why Snapchat will be a big win for your business.
